I definitely never gave enough credit or thought to Michigan as a travel destination, 🙈 and wow my trip here last summer really exceeded all expectations!

There are so many picturesque small towns, beautiful lake views, 🏊‍♀️ fun places to relax on the beach or go swimming, and plenty of nature and hiking options. 

This is the general route we followed, but you can of course tweak it to fit your interests!

🛍️ Explore Downtown – Plenty of boutiques, cozy cafes, and restaurants 🎉! Don’t miss the splash pad 💧 and watching the bridge lift up for boats 🛥️ 

🌲 Visit the Charlevoix South Pier Lighthouse: A picture-perfect spot, especially during sunset!

While there’s of course loads more you can do in Edinburgh with the 3 days, this is how I suggest dividing up your time for a first time visit! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Do as many of these activities as you like, or slow things down and just do a few. You really can’t go wrong! 🏰

Our family had a great time exploring Indianapolis! ✨ It really does feel like an underrated Midwest destination

🚙Just a 1 hour 45 minute drive from the Cincinnati area, it’s an easy road trip destination (It’s also a 1hr 45min drive from Louisville, and 2hr 45min from Columbus)
