Pigeon Forge Things to Do (Kid Friendly!) + Where We Stayed

Pigeon force kid friendly things to do.

The Great Smoky Mountains is the most visited U.S. National Park, and for good reason. In addition to the park itself, there are loads of kid-friendly things to do in Pigeon Forge and nearby Gatlinburg, Tennessee! Being from the Cincinnati area, it’s only a 4.5 hour drive, so I’ve traveled here many times. Traveling with a toddler, our goal was to find kid friendly activities, and we did! We usually stay in Gatlinburg, so Pigeon Forge…

Exploring the stunning cliffs of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore was one of my favorite parts of our Michigan road trip last summer. ☀️

It sort of feels like stepping into a painting thanks to its colorful sandstone cliffs, hidden waterfalls, and Lake Superior views! 💧

We took a boat tour to see the beautiful shoreline views from the water 🛥️(we had two small kids with us), but you can also kayak through it to see caves and arches 🛶

(( We booked our boat tour with @picturedrockscruises ))

You can also hike along trails with incredible overlooks. 🥾 Don’t miss Chapel Rock, Miners Castle, and Spray Falls!

This part of Michigan’s upper peninsula is so stunning 😍 It’s definitely a “must do” road trip
