With that, here are my…

Fun Attractions in Lexington, Kentucky

One Day in Charleston, South Carolina: Itinerary

Charleston has that pure “southern charm”. It’s one of the most picturesque cities in the American south, and its palm-lined streets have memorable appeal🌴 I came here with my family to visit Folly Beach, and we spent a few days in the city too. It instantly reminded me of Savannah, although each city has its own unique vibe! If you are short on time, here are the top things to do and see with just…

Pigeon Forge Things to Do (Kid Friendly!) + Where We Stayed

Pigeon force kid friendly things to do.

The Great Smoky Mountains is the most visited U.S. National Park, and for good reason. In addition to the park itself, there are loads of kid-friendly things to do in Pigeon Forge and nearby Gatlinburg, Tennessee! Being from the Cincinnati area, it’s only a 4.5 hour drive, so I’ve traveled here many times. Traveling with a toddler, our goal was to find kid friendly activities, and we did! We usually stay in Gatlinburg, so Pigeon Forge…

Yep, even with researching I still made mistakes! 💁🏻‍♀️

📌Be intentional about looking up places with highland cows beforehand, you might not just randomly see them while driving 🐂

📌If you have a US phone number, you can’t use the parking app they have for public parking, so be sure to have coins on you 💰

📌 Have a backup plan in case your ferry gets canceled. ⛴️ Thankfully we found another way home after ours was, but you might not be as lucky!

📌 Don’t rent a car unless you feel confident in yourself and your ability to handle the left side driving, roundabouts, narrow roads, and single lane roads with passing places. 🚙

Yes I researched the weather ahead of time, but I didn’t realize how dramatically it could change! ⛈️

I think we experienced all 4 seasons in one day 😂 !

In all seriousness though, we went in June & had rain, wind, cold & sleet! ☔️ Then we went in May, & had perfect sunshine every day & not a drop of rain even once! ☀️

Moral is: be prepared for anything and DRESS IN LAYERS - Yes, like a stylish little onion 🧅

Oh yeah, & for visiting @edinburghcastle it is sometimes possible to get tickets the day of- depends on season, day of week and time of day- 🎟️ but to be safe just book it as far in advance as you can!

Same goes for visiting the underground amazingness of @marykingsclose 😇

Just an hour from Prague, the Sedlec Ossuary in Ku Just an hour from Prague, the Sedlec Ossuary in Kutná Hora is one of the most hauntingly beautiful places in Europe 🇨🇿

A chapel decorated with the bones of over 40,000 people, you definitely won’t forget coming here! 💀✨

You can easily visit by train from Prague’s main station (about 1 hour each way). 🚆 It’s a quick walk from the Kutná Hora–Sedlec stop.

A little eerie, a lot fascinating, and absolutely worth the day trip. 🙌

You can also combine this Prague day trip with a visit to the medieval town of Česky Krumlov too! 🏰
