Florida’s Hidden Gems

Whether you’re planning a dream vacation, or relocating to the Sunshine State- you’ll want to ensure you hit all the best spots! From stunning scenery and scorching beaches to world-renowned attractions, there’s always something to do in Florida.

To start creating your ultimate Florida check list, take a look at a few hidden gems I’ve discovered over the years that can help you get started:

Take a Trip to Singer Island

Situated just off the coast of Palm Beach County, Singer Island is home to seven miles of spectacular beaches, extensive hiking and biking trails, and exquisite mangrove forests. If you want to get a glimpse of what’s under the water, be sure to book a scuba diving or snorkeling excursion. This amazing island is also home to exceptional resorts and world-class restaurants, so you’ll want to spend as much time on Singer Island as you can! Bonus points for its proximity to downtown West Palm Beach, and its amazing shelling opportunities.

Visit Miami Beach

Filled with attractions and activities, you’ll find plenty to do when you stop off in this stunning city. However, a trip to the iconic “Miami Beach” should certainly be on your Miami bucket list. South Beach is known as a popular hangout for celebrities and stars, so keep your eyes peeled to see who you can spot! Surrounded by the South Beach Art-Deco district, you can get a real feel for the history of the city when you wander around on foot.
Miami Beach is more than just a good place to soak up the sun. Surrounded by golf courses and spas, it’s the perfect location to treat yourself to a little luxury. Come night-time, Miami comes alive, so get ready to make the most of the bars, restaurants, and clubs which line Miami Beach.

Dive or Snorkel at Molasses Reef

If you’re eager to arrange an excursion you’ll remember forever, book a dive at Molasses Reef. Situated in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary, the area is filled with things to see. Besides having stunning natural coral reefs, there are also remnants of vessels which ran aground many years ago.
With diverse sea life, you’ll have a good chance of seeing nurse sharks, parrot-fish, eels, and angelfish when you dive here too. Similarly, there are numerous types of coral and sea plants to explore. I personally am not a diver, but I can recommend the snorkeling!

Spend Time at Falling Waters State Park

Home to the highest waterfall in Florida, you’ll see breath-taking sights when you spend some time at Falling Waters State Park. Covering more than 170 acres, there are endless opportunities to hike, fish, camp and swim in this natural beauty. If you want to get to know the park better, look out for tours and talks from experienced rangers.

Make the Most of Your Time in Florida

With so much to see and do, it’s easy to let your time in the Sunshine State pass you by. However, you’ll want to ensure you create a schedule so that you can pack as much as possible into your trip. From the fancy high-end restaurants and clubs in Miami to some of nature’s best places to explore, be sure to check out a few of the many hidden gems available in Florida!
